Biohazard Revelations

I got on the 401 and drove straight towards Oakville on the wrong side of the highway.

With everyone trying to get out of Canada, the way way to Oakville was still backlogged with cars... crashed cars with no one inside them.
So I drove on the side of the highway that would have taken you into the city... the place where no one wanted to be.

The highway was pretty clear, the occasional car to swerve around or a random zombie to run over.

Jason liked that part... running them over.


We were coming through Mississauga when we needed to stop for gas.

I pulled into the Petro Canada that was just off the highway.
"Go check out the store and see if theres anything left to eat."
Jason nodded and grabbed his shotgun... leaving Sara in the back, I got out to fill up the Flex when I heard Jason's shotgun.

I pulled out one of Eagles but didn't have the chance to go in after him.
The cashiers zombified body flew through the glass front door
"Thank you come again!"
And he walked out.
He had 4 bags of chips, 5 bags of jerky and 2 bottles of Pepsi and 10 bags of Skittles in his pocket.

Sara had opened the side door to see what was going on.
"Hey keep down it guys I'm... woo hoo food."

I grabbed a bag of chips from Jason and tossed it to her.

I filled the tank and let Jason drive... getting in back to get some sleep.
"Get back on the Highway and keep going 'til you see the Ford plant... get off at the first exit and wake me up."

OOC: Random bit of info.... the Ford Flex is made at the Ford plant in Oakville.
Oakville is also home to the Ford Motor of Companies Canadian HeadOffice.

The building near the red square is Ford of Canada's HeadOffice.
The BIG building near the yellow square is the where they make the Ford Flex(Lincoln MKT) and the Ford Edge(Lincoln MKX) This is also where they used to make the Ford Windstar.

Route the Flex takes to Oakville

"Hey dude, wake up."
"Fuck... that didn't take long."
"Traffic was light."
I heard Sara laugh, I looked over and she was sitting up... the colour was coming back into her face.
"You look better."
"And you look tired."
"Yeah..."

We were on UpperMiddle Road now.
"Turn right up here, onto Grosvenor."
Jason turned the Flex onto Grosvenor.
"Keep going until the street ends and pull into the parking lot."

Sara was looking out the front window.

The school came in to view... Iroquois Ridge High School.

Jason pulled in to the parking lot.
"Alright kids, time for school!"
Sara and I got out and grabbed our guns, Jason right behind us.

We walked around to the front of the school.
Sara tried one of the doors.
"Its locked."

I pulled out one of my eagles and shot the lock.
"Problem solved."
Sara gave me a weird look.
"Don't worry... I'm just tired."

Jason opened the door and we entered.

"Its quiet."
"Creepy quiet."

We went through the second set of doors and entered the main hall.

Main hallway.

We went ot what looked like a Student Council room. The room wasn't incredibly big but it had a few couches in it... better than sleeping on the floor.

I crashed on the farthest couch from the door.



I woke at around 12 the next day... they weren't here.
I grabbed my rifle and went out into the main hall, greeted by the sound of music and the smell of... bacon?
Sara had just turned the corner to my left.

"Well... look who's finally awake."
"Yeah... wheres Jason?"
"Foods classroom, trying to make some eggs... emphasis on trying. It isn't going too well."

She started laughing.
She saw the expression on my face.
"We brought the stuff in around 10, most of the guns are on the tables in the cafeteria."
"I'll start there then."
"Alright then, follow me."
She walked off towards the front doors and to the right. I followed her into a large room filled with tables... the cafeteria.
The first few tables had all the guns spread out on them, the next three had ammunition on them.

"I didn't know we had soo much stuff."
"Yeah I know, took like 4 trips to get it all over here from the auto shop."
"So the Flex is inside now?"
"Yeah"
"Good, it'll make getting out of here easier."
"You alright here for a bit? I'm gonna see if Jason has burned the classroom down yet."

She started laughing again as she left.
I spent most of the afternoon reloading the ammo clips and cleaning our main guns.

"Were going up to the roof, you wanna come?"
It was Jason.
"Sure... whats the occassion?"
"Nothin really. Sara wanted to go up there... somethin about wanting to watch the sunset."
"Lead on."

I strapped my rifle on to my back and followed to the front stairs.
One of the windows was blown out.

"Nice."
"Well its better than trying to find the roof hatch."
Sara was already out there, a box beside her with a atleast a dozen cans of Coke and Pepsi.
"Did the vending machine have an all you can carry special?"
"That was my idea."

We went out on to the roof and watched the sunset. Talking about random stuff until an explosion ended our happy little get together.

"What the fuck was that?"
"I don't know."
Jason didn't seem worried until a rocket fired in our direction hit the wall in front of us, sending bits of brick and glass every where.

"Holy shit! What the fuck was that!?!"
"Everybody back inside now!"

We went back through the window just as another explosion went off where we were just sitting a few seconds ago.

"I don't know what the hell is out there but we need to leave now!"
"Thats probably the smartest thing you've ever said."

We ran back to the cafeteria.
"Jason, load the rocket launcher... Sara, help me pack the bags and get them to the Flex."
Jason loaded the rocket launcher and Sara packed the bags with me.

Theres was a low roar followed by another explosion... the front doors blew in.
Glass and metal framing thrown in to the main hall.

It went quiet... all we could here were heavy footsteps.
I whispered to Jason. "Get the rocket launcher ready, as soon as that thing comes through the doors... blow it up."
He got the rocket launcher ready and looked towards the door.

It came through the door and before Jason could fire the rocket, bullets began to fly everywhere. It had a mini gun.

"Holy shit!" Jason dove out of the way as the first of the bullets shower hit the tiled floor in front of him.


It was a Nemesis.


I was about to fire a rocket at the Nemesis when something went wrong with my rocket launcher.

"Whats taking so long over there!?"

"Stupid thing is jammed or something!"

"Oh you've got to be fucking kidding me!"

I looked at them and shrugged. "Anyone have a plan B?"

"Towards the back of the school... the torches use acetelyne gas."
"The torches?"
"Of course! We can blow the fucker up!"
"Exactly."
We jumped out from our cover in the cafeteria and ran for the back hallway, dodging bullets the entire time.
One hit Sara in the right arm. Two hit me, one grazing my right cheek and the other clipping my left shoulder. Jason was the only one who made there without a scratch.

We got to the back hallway, apparently the Nemesis cut through the gym wall because the doors that access the back hall from the gym blew out.
"Fuck this things quick!"
"Now what?"
"The computer lab, wood shop and the auto shop are all connected... cut through the lab and take the side doors."

They went for the doors... I didn't follow.
Sara looked back at me.
"Don't worry about me, just go!"
"Thats the problem... I am worried."
"Just go... I need you guys to get the tanks ready, set them up in the middle of the shop and crank the valve open all the way... pull the flex out and wait for me... NOW!"

Just as they went through the door to the computer lab, the Nemesis came around the corner... rocket launcher ready.

I hid behind a wall and waited for him to come by... but he fired a rocket instead.

At the same time he fired, my instincts kicked in.

I launched myself away from the wall, pulling my Eagle out at the same time I took aim and fired.

Everything seemed to go in slow motion... I saw the rocket flying towards me, and I saw the one bullet I had fired... heading straight for the rocket.

The .50 cal bullet from the Eagle tore through the rocket... blowing it up on impact.

With the Nemesis temporarily disoriented from the blast I managed to dive through the open door to the computer lab.
I ran through the lab and the wood shop, Sara and Jason were just getting the two tanks in to the back of the a van that was in the shop.

"Get ready... he's coming."
Jason cranked the valves open, gas started hissing from the tanks... filling the room with gas.

"Get outside!"
"I'll lure him out."
"Sara..."
"Don't worry about me."

Just as Jason and I got outside, the Nemesis broke through the wall in to the classroom.

"He's here! Hey ugly!"
It saw her and started stomping towards the next door which led in to the shop.
"Yeah thats right! You with the ugly ass face... come and get me!"
It was at this point that she started backing up towards the garage door.

He was near the van now.

Sara turned and ran towards the Flex.
The Nemesis was getting ready to fire another rocket.

"NOW!"

Jason took aim.

"Hey bitch! Schools out!"

I fired and the tiniest spark set of the reaction. The whole part of the school exploded. Flames erupted out of every possible exit.

"And who said I don't know how to Barbeque?"

I sat back, enjoying this moment of victory.

"Nice shot!"
She punched Jason's arm lightly.
"Good work guys... he came down faster than I thought he would, the Nemesis was supposed to be stronger than that or so I thought."
"So now what?"
"Well, we still have to get the rest of the stuff from the cafeteria... drive around to the front, I'll meet you there."

Jason put the Flex in gear and sped off to the front of the school... I walked.


We got the rest of the stuff loaded and left the school behind.

I must have fallen asleep again, when I woke up we were at the gas station near a Canadian Tire.

"Where are we?"
"A Canadian Tire gas station... Jason wants to push for Windsor."
"Fuck... why Windsor?"
"Dunno, he said something about Florida."
"Well... the entire coast would be safer. Florida, New Orleans... pretty much anything along the far coast of the US would be safe."
"How do you know that?"
"Containment, the virus or whatever hell this is was released in Canada... it got in to the US but the managed to hold it back, Florida is one of the safest, but..."
"But what?"
"Its gonna be damn near impossible to just drive in there... they probably have the entire state line fortified."

She didn't say anything, a tear rolled down her right cheek.
I moved closer and put my arm around her.
"Don't worry... we'll make it through this... we just need to take it on step at a time and think before we do anything."
A small smile came to her face.
"I'll be right back... ok?"
She nodded.

I opened the side door and got out.
"Hey Jason?"
"Yeah whats up?"
"We're gonna spend the night in that Canadian Tire alright?"
"Fine be me... just as long as there aren't any damn zombies in there."
"I don't think we'll have to worry about that."
I pointed to the front doors... they were barricaded.
"How the hell are we supposed to get in?"
I started laughing.
"Whats so funny? Is there something on my face?!?"
Sara started laughing when he said that.
"Nothing... we getting in through the roof."
"Damn man, you must really be tired or something cause swear I just heard you say the were going up on the roof."
"No... you heard correctly. It's the only way were getting in... hopefully the people inside are friendly."
Jason swore, closed the gas cap and walked around to the drivers side.

"Go around to the back... we'll meet you there, you comin' Sara."
She almost fell when she jumped out of the Flex's side door.
"Don't kill yourself."
"No, I'd be more worried if you wrapped that car around a light post."

With no comeback, Jason drove off.

"Why is it soo damn quiet?"
"I don't know... it doesn't make any sense."

We walked the rest of the way in silence... keeping watch for any zombie hordes that might might be waiting to ambush us.

I sat there, opening my bottle of mango, holding it in my right hand, while my AK in my other. Some of us were asleep, but I already got my beauty sleep.
"I hope those damn crout zombies don't come again, 'em freaks." I whispered to myself.
I checked my gun, to see if it was loaded, jugging my mango.
I heard some noises outside, didn't sound like zombies, so I just ignored it, but I was vigilante just in case.

We got to the back... Jason was sitting on the hood of the Flex waiting.
"Nice time for a moonlit walk don't ya think?"
"Yeah, I like the way the moon light shines off of the black eye I'm about to give you."
"Alright guys thats enough... lets just find a way inside so we can get some damn sleep."
"Already took care of it while I was waiting."

He pointed towards a ladder that was attached to the wall, it went straight up to the roof.

"Nice... you can go first."
"Sweet, I've always wanted to go up on the roof of..."
I interrupted him.
"Just get your ass up there!"
"Ok... shit man, no need to yell."

Jason climbed up to the roof and leaned over the edge.
"All clear up here guys!"

I was about to grab hold of the ladder when Sara nudged me arm.
"I'll go next."
"Yeah... sure."
She climbed up... I wasn't far behind.

There was a door up on the roof, it opened up to a set of stairs.

We went down the stairs and opened the next door, it led into the mangers office... we weren't alone.

I started to hear noises, I picked up my AK and aimed it at the entrance.
I finished my mango, and layed it down next to me,
"Well let's see, who came knocking on our door."
I turned off the safety of the gun and waited.

We came through the door and met the barrel of an AK-47.
"Oh shit!!"
Sara didn't say anything, she raised her shotgun.
"Alright... everybody calm down." It was a cop.
The guy with the AK didn't budge.
Sara lowered her shotgun a bit, but not completly.

"What do you guys want?" I held the AK with one hand and picking up my mango bottle and smashing it on the edge of a table. I held the jagged and sharp bottle in one hand like a club while holding the AK to their faces.
"Well these guys don't seem to be infected, which is obvious, but what do they want here? Maybe shelter, they better not screw us over..."
I put down my gun and bottle.
"Well the more the merrier, just don't pull and smart ass moves..."
I leaned my head against a wall watching them talk.

I wasn't in the mood to talk, I saw some people sitting at a table playing cards. I walked up to them and watched them play. One of them noticed me watching.
"You wanna play?"
I smiled.
"Deal me in."

I was dead on my feet at this point.
I went downstairs to the main shopping area and found a tent that was on display... enen had two sleeping bags in it.
Sara insisted on coming with me so that she could keep watch... I didn't give a word of protest, just a nod of approval before I fell face first on to the sleeping bag.

I too walked to the card game, looking down
"You know what deal me in too, it's someone elses turn to keep watch"
I turned to the person who had just came, nodding to them, "Sup man hows it goin'?"


*The Next Day*
I don't know what time it was when I finally woke up... but it was definitely raining outside... pretty heavily from I could hear.

"Soo... you finally decided to wake up?"
Sara was sitting beside me reading... an auto-parts catalogue?
"What time is it?"
"Dunno... my watch died."
It wasn't easy to notice that Sara's mood had changed dramatically.
"You sleep alright? You could have pushed me off the air matress you know."
"Yeah but... you need sleep more than me soo... I didn't bother."

The atmosphere was filled with the sound of laughter... of fun.
"Whats goin on out there?"
"Nothin much, Jason's racing around the store on a bicycle with some younger kid and his sister."

The atmosphere outside the tent was... happy.

All the lights in the store were on and everybody was having fun.

I started walking towards the stairs that led up to the main office.
"Where ya goin?"
"I need to know what our current situation is... were not staying here forever."
"I knew that but... why now? Let everyone have some fun... we can deal with that stuff later."

I shrugged my shoulders and kept walking.
"Did you hear me?"
A slight tone of annoyance in her voice.
"Yeah... I'm not going to the office, I'm going up to the roof."

She broke in to a light jog to catch up to me.

I woke up looking around, first thing I picked up was a mango bottle. And then walking over to the guys.

"Ain't my shift today hombres, plus we have to finish our game..guys? Fuck they passed out..." I walked away looking around walking to the new guy who played cards with us.
I sat next to him drinking my bottle. "So, hows your zombie survival story?" I said drinking my bottle.

I looked at the him and shrugged my shoulders.
"You know same old, running around, shooting, screaming, same old shit."

"So whats the plan?"
"I don't know, we should get the Flex inside first though, reload all the guns."
"Alright, then what?"

She had this strange sort of twinkle in her eye... I say eye because her hair was half covering the other.

"No idea."
"I know of something..."
She leaned forward and kissed me... just as Jason and the other guy came through the door.

I was worried about her reaction but... it was the complete opposite, she didn't stop.
It lasted a few seconds longer before she finally pulled back.
"Theres more where that came from... now lets go get the Flex inside."

Me and Rafael got out on to the roof just as Jake and Sara were.....ya. I looked up as if I was asking a simple question to god, What the fuck!? despite that I smiled.

"You know.... I could go on for hours joking about this like Hey! Isn't a Zombie Apocolypse such a romantic time!?"

I saw a very threatening look in Sara's eyes but I couldn't stop myself.

"Well It's about time I guess it's gonna suck when I accidently walk in when you two are.... you know what nevermind I'm going back inside."

Still mocking the situation, I walked back downstairs.

I saw Jason go back downstairs, joking while I saw two other people kissin' each other. I started laughing.

"Nice joke man," I looked over his shoulder calling out to the two loverbirds, "You two can get a room in the back, but when the zombies start coming in, don't expect 'em to watch; don't worry I'll make sure to put Rated R on your door." I jugged my mango and looked at Jason, loading my gun.
I also took out a cigar lighting it and placing it in my mouth, I offered one to Jason.

Sara was already down at the bottom of the ladder when I got down.

"Well... that was... interesting."
"Lets just get this thing inside *Fires a few hand gun rounds out the window* were already attracting more unwanted attention."

I turned the key, drove around to the front and honked the horn.

Heres what the actual vehicle looks like.

The one we have is all black, has a police style front bumper (Push bar) and has the Umbrella Corp. logo in place of the lisence plates.
The interior is outfitted with a crap load of ammo storage and the windows are all reinforced.

To provide more power for the engine, a lot of the electronic sensors have been removed, the exhaust system is dual pipes and muffler-less and there is no traction control.

The Flex used throughout this RP is a 2011 Ford Flex Limited.
It is heavily modified with military grade equipment for communication, defense and offense.

Communication: This Flex has been equiped with a satellite radio communication system. This allows the occupants to communicate effectively with all Umbrella Corporation facilities around the world using a series of orbital satellites.

Defense: The Flex sacrifices nothing when it comes to protection. The reinforced safety glass is able to stop a .50 Calibur bullet.
The body panels are also reinforced with the same purpose.

Offense: With a mouted push bar and numerous ammo storage compartments, the Flex is a combat ready vehicle for 4.

The standard V6 engine has been replaced with a 670hp TwinTurbo V8 and the driver has the ability to change between Rear Wheel Drive to All Wheel Drive (for offroad purposes) with the push of a button.

The cop opened one of the garage doors that gave access to the shop.
There were already 2 other vehicles inside, a 2006 Ford Crown Victoria police car and 1987 Buick GNX.
It was obvious who owned the cop car... the GNX on the other could be either the managers or Rafael's.
I parked beside the cop car and Sara got out first... almost sprinting over to where the GNX was sitting.

"Holy shit! Jake its a fucking GNX!!!"

"Wowowowowowoo wait there, pretty lady don't touch her!" I said jugging down another bottle of mango.
"I've been with her for 10 years, not a scratch on her." I opened the car, and waved inside to the two of 'em.
"Take a peek why dontcha? I'd give her a name, but shes to precious to have one..." I laughed a little to myself looking at the girl, with an amazed expression on her face. I was thinking of some of the car shows back then in the day.
"So your girlfriend into cars, eh?" I said elbowing the other dude.

"I actually had no idea."

"And I thought the Flex was amazing... Um... can you start it up for me? Please?!?"

I looked through my pocket, taking out a set of keys.
"Yup, yup, haven't heard her for a while let's see what shes up to..." I opened the door and got in putting the keys in the ignition.
"Lady, I don't know if your ready to hear this bad girl...." she looked at me with a bit of a furious look, like she was gonna tear me apart, "hey hey jsut saying the beauty of this cars gonna overwhelm you...just saying. "
I turned the ignition, and the car purred to life. The engine sounded so beautiful. The rumbling of the car, the smell of the inside was all great.

The GNX sounded great but... something didn't sound right.
"Pop the hood."

"I think your girlfriend's a mechanic too...." I said to the other guy, while going to the front of the car popping the hood.
"See whats wrong with her..."

With the engine running, I leaned for closer look.
"Thats what I thought... turn it off, the turbo is out of tune."

I got back in the car, turning it off.
"What the hell? Can yea fix it?"

"Of course I can, all I have to do is take the shield off and pull the turbo..."

I saw the look on his face... horror.

"Don't worry, its alot easier than it sounds... my dad had a GNX, I used to help him work on it... and we couldn't have picked a better place to do this either, this place has more than enough tools."

I shrugged, "Well whatever you can to get this working..."
I took out a cigar smoking it, while walking back, as she did her work.
"Well just get this beauty fixed, I don't want nothin wrong with her.."

"Don't worry, I'll have her running like new in no time... just out of curiousity, when was the last time you had her serviced... you know oil change, check the brakes, stuff like that?"
I walked over to one of the large tool cabinets on the wall behind the car and shot the lock.

From the tool cabinet I took a ratchet, a small screw driver, a 8mm socket for the housing and a 4mm socket to take the turbo apart.

I started by taking the shield off followed pulled the turbo's drive belt off.
Placing both on the workbench, I put the 8mm on the ratchet and removed the 4 bolts the held the turbo in place.

"See... told it was easy."
He didn't seem to be relieved as he watched me.

I placed the turbo on the workbench, put the 3mm on the ratchet and removed the 6 bolts that held the turbo together... carefully taking the turbo apart, I made note of anything that might be causing the problem.
I could feel a second set of eyes watching me.
"Enjoying the show Jake?"
"Yeah... I had no idea you were the mechanical type."
"I prefer the hands on approach to things."

After looking over all the parts I noticed that one of the fins on the turbos fan was bent slightly.

"Well that would explain it... the fins bent... hey Jake could you hand me those needle-nose plyers?"

He placed the plyers in my hand... and very carfully, I bent the fin back into place.

"Problem solved... now I put it back together."
and with a small can of oil, I greased the primary and secondary bearings before putting the turbo back together.

*7 mintues later*

With the turbo back in and a smile on my face, I turned to Rafael.
"Anything else I should check?"

I looked at her legs and went up, wow, and she was a mechanic too.
"I would like a lot of things," I said looking at her ass, taking another cigar, lighting it and walking away, "thanks tuts for fixin my girl..." I said before I headed into the shop again with my weapons, ready to to take part in another event of the world's histroy...zombie invasions...

*Jake*
"Is there anything we should check on the Flex?"
"If you mean we as me, then yeah sure... I was gonna change the oil, put in a new air and oil filter, and probably check the brakes."
"Mind if I help?"
"Not at all, I mean I don't really need any but I don't see why not."

*Fast forward 1 hour*

Sara and I went back up to the managers office... everyone was there so I figured it was the perfect oppotunity for a meeting.

"Alright guys heres the plan... I need everyone to gather up all the food they can find and put it in the trunk of the police car, any spare weapons and ammo are to got in the back of the Flex."
"Not that it really matters but, where do you plan on going exactly? The whole world is fucked!"
"Not exactly... from this laptop I have been able to confirm that anyone who managed to survive has been in the safe zone located along the entire lower half of Florida as well as parts of New Orleans... we're going to Florida."

"And you think they'll just let us drive right in?"
"Thats not going to be a problem... they already know were coming... though they doubt we'll make it."

Everything went silent... aside from the moans and groans of the zombies outside.

"This laptop is the property of the Umbrella Corporation, through it I have been able to contact the Florida safe zone... and they are allowing us entry into the safe zone... we just have to make it there."

I looked over our group of survivors... someone was missing.

"Wheres the manager?"
"Dunno... told me he was going outside for a smoke or something but that was like 4 hours ago."
"He's probably dead then... Jason, take Mitchell and check the roof... 3 minutes then come back down and help pack up."

I turned to Rafael and then to Sara.
"You two are with me... Sara I need you to prep the cop car, Rafael... its alot to ask but your going to have to make some additions to your car... I need the cop cars windows reinforced with steel bars then cover the bars with steel mesh."

Rafael didn't look to happy about this.

"Trust me on this alright... if you want to be alive when we get to Florida your car is going to need to be safe enough for you to sleep in. I would also suggest putting a push bar on it... check the Automotive Department for one, Sara will help you with the windows once shes done with the cop car."
