Here you can post any new weapons, vehicles and technology you create for this very unique continuation of the Halo storyline.

The storyline takes place 3-5 years after Halo 3 so heres a basic idea of what is going to happen:
- The Covenant as a whole, have been destroyed. However, there are small factions of "Believers".
- The Elite Hierarchy has become the new Covenant, letting all other races save the Brutes join.
- A new enemy has risen to take the place of the covenant. No one knows who they are or what they're intentions are.



In terms of characters, any chracter from the previous 2 rps can be used.

UNSC Army Ships -

UNSC Mail Man - This is a Marathon Class Cruiser, with the length of 1,501 meters. it supports 500 cm worth of Titanium - A armor, also supporting a Shaw-Fujikawa Translight Engine. The armor is coated also in special ceramic plating onto the Titanium - A armor, with the intention of reducing plasma fire damage almost 70%. The ceramic plating acts as a shield would for a covenant ship. It's armament is 2 MAC cannons, 2 fenris warheads, 2 shiva warheads, 2 HAVOK warheads, over sized Archer Missile pods (20 pods, 50 missiles in each) and regular Archer missile pods (200 pods, 50 missiles in each), 6 twin-linked prototype gauss guns, multiple 50mm point defense guns, and 5 fusion rockets.

It has twin linked advanced prototype Deuterium Core Reactors, acting as a better engine, while using less energy. It also has an advanced reactor similar to the Pillar of Autumn, except better to compensate for the weaponry, armor, and engineering systems.

The twin-linked prototype gauss gun fires a 42.1x331mm ferromagnetic-tungsten round. Like all gauss weaponry, it is uses an advanced Asynchronous Linear-Induction Motor to launch it at 30,000 meters a second. These weapons are capable of penetrating shielded and unshielded targets.

This carrier holds, 5 C710 Longsword-Class Interceptors, 7 Savres, 3 Clarion spy drones, 2 elephants, 52 Pelican dropships, 4000+ Army troopers, 50 Scorpions, 100+ Warthogs, 100+Hornets, 100+ mongooses, 80 Falcons, HEVs, occasional ODSTs, and Spartan IVs (specifically Base Team).

The ship's AI is named Katherine and is commanded by Admiral Andrew Chenkov. This ship has an advanced radar tracker and can detect fluctuations in order to find any cloaked or hidden targets.

This ship was given to the UNSC Army, to transport army platoons, vehicles, and as a desperate navy battles due to it's large armament of weapons and powerful armor.

Spartan IV Project

This Spartan Project was under the watch of Dr. Chakez Jaferson and Admiral Andrew Chenkov of the Army. These soldiers take orders from the Army and are in the Army, but may be redirected to any other UNSC branch if ordered or needed.
Like the Spartan II project, the use of this project was to augment the person. Instead of the kids being taken as candidates for augmentation, highly trained and specialized men and women volunteered for augments.

List of Augments:
1) Carbide Ceramic Ossification - gives virtually unbreakable bones
2) Muscular Enhancement Injections - increases tissue density and decreases lactase recovery time
3) Catalytic Thyroid Implant - boosts growth of skeletal and muscle tissue
4) Occipital Capillary Reversal - produces a mark visual perception increase (for these new Spartans specifically, this augment has allowed them to have a greater visual perception then before)
5) Superconducting Fibrification of Neural Dendrites - 300% increase in subject's reflex, anecdotal evidence of marked increase in intelligence, memory, and creativity
6) Amplified Skin Padding - Allows the users skin to be a little more resilient, it also has the user's skin absorb more non-harmful energy, which allows the spartan to control recoil to unnoticeable points, and absorb any necessary nutrients at microscopic levels. This allows the user to have his or her overall performance increase whenever in danger, tired, or hurt. This allows for rapid cell regeneration, although they can recover from injuries faster than a human, they can't fully depend on it. (New augment)
Note this new augment was produced by Dr. Chakez, she is the only one with the schematics to these specific Spartans.
Each Spartan IV sports a Spartan Neural Interface so that they can support an AI.
In total there were a total of 59 candidates, only 31 avoided death or disfigurement, 17 are already prepped for combat, while the other 14 are still awaiting more training and adjustments as well as armor and weapons delivery.

MJOLNIR Power Assault Armor/Mark VII

Much like the Mark VI it augments the user to do better. This armor however is more lightweight and can withstand more punishment. It also gives the Spartan better strength and quickness. In addition, every Mark VII armor comes with a huge leap in targeting system, allowing for perfect pinpoint accuracy, In addition it allows the user of the armor to virtually control the recoil of the gun to the point where it is unnoticed. The HUD also allows the user to detect anything within a longer wider radius, pinpointing them on any elevation within their scanner. The HUD also allows for a limited scan of hidden enemies, mines, explosives, or traps. The MJOLNIR Mark VII power armor is equipped with a redundant shield generator, which allows for temporary burst for intact shields or instant regeneration of the shields, however it is only temporary.

Like it's original, this armor allows for a large variety of additions to the users liking such as:
1) Additional armor plating
2) Increased speeds
3) Extra ammunitions storage
4) Helmet add-ons (such as better zoom, better radar, better communications without failing or static, etc)
5) Better melee capability equipment
etc.

The armor has almost the same olive green color as the Mark VI , except with some Army colored camo onto it, giving it a little bit more of a tannish color. There may be small detailing on their armor, to whichever color the prefer. On their right shoulder and on the side of their helmet (in small print) it will read their name and service tag. Their service tags follow the format of S-???? (in example Spartan - 0324). The only exception is Richard - 031 , seeing as how he was a Spartan II from before.

Spartan III Mk.II Project (S32 or SX for short)
Essentially a continuation/redesign of the Spartan III program, the Spartans of the S32 Project are similar to the Spartan II's in many ways.
The prototype run, which consisted of only two Spartans, was started and directly funded by ONI.
The final "product" is still fully funded by ONI but has more UNSC involvement.
As with the new the Spartan IV Project, children were not used as candidates.

There were only 25 candidates chosen for the Spartan III Mk.II Project, only 11 of them produced a positive outcome.
Matthew Daniels, now Commander and part of the original prototype run, volunteered himself to do the direct testing of the new armour and also become lead for the project.

The augments are similar and or virtually the same as those used for the new Spartan IV Project.
-Carbide Ceramic Ossification
-Muscular Enhancement Injections (close attention was applied to the leg muscles in particular)
-Catalytic Thyroid Implant
-Occipital Capillary Reversal
-Superconducting Fibrification of Neural Dendrites

Overall devolepment tome for the project is still unknown but is believed to have truly started shortly after the fall of Reach.
The first two battle ready S32's made there firat appearance in the Battle of the Unseen Path.



MJOLNIR Mark VI Version II SPI Powered Assault Armour
Designation Model S32
The Spartan II Mk.II Project uses a heavily modified version of the Spartan II Mark VI Power Assault Armour.
The most clear alteration being the fact that it uses a Photo-Reflective Armour Coating for stealth.
This sits between the regular armour and a Nano-Ceramic coating.
The Nano-Ceramic coating was developed to aid the resistance of plasma based weapons, though it is still in its prototype stage. The test results were deemed acceptable enough for full S32 deployment.
Armour colouration is matte finished black and helmets use dark red visor.
S32 users tend to personalize there armours with secondary colours and or emblems of there choice.
All Spartan III Mk.II Officers have a single dark grey stripe either around one thigh or one arm.


The armour itself consists of the following.

Overall Platform: MJOLNIR Mark VI Powered Assault Armour
Details: Vacuum sealed with built in E.V.A system for low oxygen environments, EMP Resistant Software system to allow the armor fully operational should an EMP be used , Upgraded shielding power harness, upgraded electronics.

Helmet: MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor/AA variant (Air Assault)
Details: Built in 5-frequency comm units, AI interface ports, limited hostile detection system (Similar to ODST variant), HUD displays for squad and personal vitals, Radar, built in infared.
MJOLNIR AA Variant was chosen for its sleak overall appearance and the large visor which aids peripheral vision.

Shoulders: Spartan III based Recon variant (adapted to MarkVI)
Details: N/A

Knee Guards: Spartan III FJA/PARA Based (adapted to MarkVI)
Details: N/A

UNSC Vermillion CFV-666
Prowler class stealth frigate created by ONI and the Gematria Program (Previously Project Slipknot)

The CFV-666 Vermillion is essentially the second version of the Vermillion, a replacement for the one that was lost during the Battle of The Unseen Path.
Bearing similar ressemblance to the original, it has the same angular lines infamous with ONI Stealth Prowlers.

The Vermillion wields Twin MAC Cannons (known by her crew as "the twins"). Utilizing state of the art ONI technology, the cannons are powered by two Fusion-Hybrid variant half scale Shaw Fujikawa engine cores and is now run on a seperate power grid. An oversight that was corrected from the previous Vermillion from feedback given by the crew. Vermillion is also equipped with multiple FENRIS Tactical EMP Warheads, 6 ARCHER Missile Pods, 5 60mm Point Defense guns.

The Vermillion is powered by two Shaw Fujikawa V3 Drive Cores, making it the fastest ship in the UNSC fleet.

Using technology from the Spartan III Project, the Vermillion uses a heavily updated and modified version of the photo-reflective armour which is placed on top of the existing armour plating.
This allows the Vermillon to effectivly blend into its surrounding, making it visually undetectable in an exo-atmospheric environment when active.

Vermillion also deploys a heavy duty variant of the MJOLNIR assault armour shielding system, upgraded to be almost as effective as the shields found on a standard Covenant cruiser.

It carries multiple Warthogs (all 4 variants), Mongoose Quad-Bikes, Grizzly Tanks, newly redesigned Pelicans and virtually any other vehicle if needed.

The Vermillion is mainly classified for stealth, despite its combat it travels with 3 other ships. One of which is the UNSC Mail Man.

The recently discovered//WE HAVE COME//of the UNSC Carrier Tomahawk has offered little information on//OUR CAUSE IS JUST//happened there. The shipboard AI, serial number SM4567, had to be terminated for suspected rampancy. However, several files stored within the AI were saved for further//WE SHALL CLAIM THEM//. The crew of the Tomahawk was not recovered. No bodies were found aboard the wreckage. Despite both the engines and the Shaw-Fujikawa being disabled, and a section of the ship's starboard side being removed, the ship was relativly undamaged. The cause of//AND BRING THEM TO GLORIOUS ASCENSION!//has not been found.

Covenant Race Histories



Sangheili: After the events of Halo 3 the Sangheili focused most of their attention on liberating some of their primary planets from enemy control. They also spent alot of time mending the ties between the Sangheili and the Humans. Receantly The Sangheili Hierarchy has established a new Covenant, even letting some former members of the old Covenant back in. They continue to worship the Forerunners, and will also continue to study into the many artifacts the Forerunners left behind.

Jiralhanae: After the events of Halo 3, most of the Jiralhanae left the Covenant to go back to their home world, capturing or keeping a few planets from the war. They took the Covenant technology and integrated it into the Brute system. This boosted their previously primitive technology on their home planet, to highly advanced. The advancement in technology allowed theym to capture or keep some planets. Normally Brute culture is usually warfare on their home, but they were united under one leader. The religion of worshipping forerunners was what united them, although not as fanatically they are definitely as stubborn. They were encouraged to travel the galaxy and learn more about the Forerunners. Although they aren't at war with the Humans or Sangheili, they are still hostile as they will attack on sight if the feud arises. Although once and a awhile they do ignore each other.

Reaper Assault Armour Mark III

The Reaper Assault Armour is an advanced armour granting the Sangheili wearing it extraordinary abilities. Four years in the making and just about a year in testing, the new Covenant has been anxious for its success. There is currently only one Sangheili actually wearing it as a final test in its abilities.
Besides increased strength, stamina, and endurance, some of it’s abilities include:
- Shields: The shields have about the same power as the golden Zealot, however It has an ability to temporarily boost the shield power to double the original strength. This boost can also act as auxiliary power in case the shields get completely depleted.
- Overdrive: The Overdrive feature provides an extra speed boost while sprinting and any other forms of movement. The downside to this amazing boost is it slowly drains the shield’s power when the Overdrive’s power runs out (3 seconds).
- Jet booster: In the upper and lower back there are four small holes that can boost the user in almost any forward direction (Including limited air movement) and lasts about 5 seconds before powering down (Unlike the Overdrive, its not connected to the shield generator). A useful combination with the Overdrive and Jet Booster is gaining a lot of momentum by sprinting forward and plowing through an enemy with the booster (The Armour’s flexible interior will absorb whatever impact shock the shields don’t).
- Helmet:
-The helmet is the armour’s most advanced component. Inside is an advanced targeting system, highlighting enemies on the battlefield, even cloaked ones of they’re in range. There’s also a target prioritizing system that will notify the user of particular enemies that present the most significant threat.
- The H.U.D. is also more advanced than regular Sangheili ones.

Brute Armory and Weapons (will be updated over time)

Brute Power Armor:

The Brute power armor had time to upgrade since the war. Instead of the armor being strapped by leather and falling off when it overloaded it was upgraded to stay on. It is no longer held by leather harnesses, but instead it became a more full armor; some pieces even being connected. (For example a Brute gauntlet had one side armor, while the other side strapped with leather; instead it is a whole gauntlet that goes around the whole wrist.) The armor grants better protection and better shielding. Just like before, for every higher rank the power armor becomes even better. When overloaded the shielding will just drop (like the Elite's and Spartans), and will allow time to recharge if not under fire. The armor does NOT fall off when overloaded and instead the shield just recharges.

Brute Chieftain Powered Harness

This armor was created after the Covenant war. Wearing this armor is a sign of great respect and power, holding true to Brute culture and it's tribal style. The armor covers most of the Brute's body and grants increased strength, speed, agility, and resistance. Only the most worthy and elite Chieftains are granted permission to wear this armor. (This armor will not fall off if overloaded, but instead recharge it's shields like the Elite's and Spartans). Only 3 Brute Chieftains are known to have this armor; however it will be released to other Chieftains later.
- Shields - It has about as good of shields as an Elite Ultra, shields were not the main focus on this armor.
- Armor - The armor is very resistant to both plasma and ballistics alike. The armor is supposed to express the physical toughness of the Brutes; doubling the health and armor of the wearer. The armor is very hard to break and breach; making the chieftain extremely hard to kill and finish off.
- Rage - When the Brute is enraged, the armor (much like Brutes), detects the pheromones. When done so, it increases the users strength, health, and even shields. However it does little to help "control" the rage.However it does allow a clearer thought process, allowing the brute to think more clearly in the rage
- Invincibility - This power is integrated into the armor. It allows for 5 seconds of extreme resistance to a great many things. Power is exerted into the armor's system allowing it take take immense punishment. If the shields are still up, it will add to it. If the shields are down, it will bring back up the shields and grant more protection. It has a long recharge time, but it is worth it in the end.
- H.U.D - From the helmet of the chieftain, a mask can come over the face and retract whenever the Brute pleases. It allows for a radar, communications, targeting systems for ranged weapons, etc. It isn't as good as other systems, but what it does do to the Brute is it increases it's senses. It allows the Brute to detect any cloaked unit with increased scent and hearing. The H.U.D also detects very slight fluctuations allowing the help for the Brute to detect infiltrated units.

Brute Ships

Brutes still use covenant technology on their ships and they still bear resemblance to them. The color of Brute ships is a brown and red metallic mix, instead of the original purple and blue metallic mix. Their design is similar to the Covenant's except with some differences. For example the original covenant cruisers had a curve at the nose; for the Brute's that curve is pointing outward. The reason for this is because most Brute ships, if not all, are capable of ramming into any ship in space with minimal damage. Special ramming equipment is placed at the nose of every Brute ship for these purposes.
Brute ships are heavily armored, relying more on armor now. They still have good (not as good as Elite's) shields, but it's their armor that prevails (which is better than other races ship armor). Generally Brute ships are very tough and resistant, but slow; EXCEPT for when they are ramming into other target. In that state they are very fast, as they are using a separate drive system for ramming capabilities. Brute battleships and cruisers are still able to glass, and they still use plasma weaponry. Although Brutes use the plasma weaponry in a different way. Instead of a standard firing speed and normal recharge rate; their plasma weaponry fires bigger plasma and at a faster. The reason for this is because Brutes targeting systems on ships are a little less sophisticated than that compared to an Elite or UNSC ship, therefore they rely on firing bigger, numerous, and faster shots. They have to recharge sooner though, but the recharge time is slightly quicker than that of other races ships.

Two new ships.


UNSC Challenger CFV 5125 (Shuttle mission 51, flight 25)
UNSC Columbia CFV 10713 (combination of Shuttle mission 107 and flight 113)


The Unsc commisioned the construction of the Challenger and Columbia in honour of the crew of both shuttle missions lost on January 28, 1986 and January 16 2003.

Both Marathon Class cruisers are white and black in colouration (which was standard NASA shuttle colouration at the time) and bear there shuttle mission insignias.

Columbia STS-107 mission insignia


Both are standard Marathon Class aside from the coloration and irregular CFV notations, they rarely see action.
UNSC Challenger can be seen on display at the Kennedy Space and Aeronautics Museum (originally NASA's HQ)
UNSC Columbia can be seen at the UNSC Flight Testing Facility in Texas (in the heart of Columbia's debris field).

These ships however, can be called into action if needed.

A.R.C.

The Atomized Rail Cannon (A.R.C.) is an ONI prototype weapon equiped on the ONI/UNSC Vermillion, it is half the size of a standard ship mounted MAC cannon and two (2) times more powerful. This is possible due advances in technology.

Once fired, the initial appearance appears as a flash of light before the actual projectile hits and no matter how close you are to the target you always see it before you hear it, usually 2-3 seconds in advance.

Essentially a Super-MAC Cannon much like those used on orbital platforms, it is the first application of such used on a ship.

Due to the required charge time, it is useless in ship to ship combat.
The A.R.C. is more suited for land targets such as enemy bases.

A.R.C. shots have an overall blast depth penetration of 100 meters and unassisted blast radius of 70 meters.

Elite Version - Like the plasma launcher, it fires plasma explosives that lock onto it's target and follows it until it hits the intended object. It fires four at a time. It takes approximately 4 of these shots to destroy a UNSC cruiser, 2 shots for a frigate, and 5 shots for a carrier or marathon class.

Brute Version - Like the plasma launcher, it fires plasma explosives that lock onto it's target and follows it until it hits the intended object. It fires two plasma balls in each burst. Theres two bursts before recharging. It takes apporixmately 4 of these shots to destroy a UNSC cruiser, 2 shots for a frigate, and 5 shots for a carrier or marathon class.

ARC Reactor:

Very similar to what you see in the Iron Man movie, The ARC Reactor is a form of power generation.
It is highly efficient but can be costly to maintain as it is still in the early stages of developement.

The Vermillion will carry one, it will provide power for the A.R.C. cannon.
It is however very costly to maintain and is prone to problems such as shut downs, overloads, and complete surges resulting in a brief power outage of the entire ship.

The reactor is roughly the size of to Shaw engine drive cores and sits in the heart of the ship.

Model 99 Special Application Scoped Rifle

Also known as the M99 Stanchion Gauss Rifle or simply the Stanchion is a United Nations Space Command Anti-Material Sniper Rifle.

Original Specs.
The .21 caliber round, using the Gauss technology the small rounds have the ability to rip targets apart even through office buildings and other solid objects. This is due to the high force imparted on the round. The round creates shockwaves as it passes through the target. In the case of material targets, this is a minor explosion. In the case of personnel targets, it simultaneously rips apart and pulverizes the body around the impact area. Even hits in an extremity can be deadly. The rounds have been known to have the ability to travel great distances without affecting the trajectory, delivering enough force to punch through instacrete pylons, blow a human apart, and continue on course through an abandoned parking lot.

Updated Specs
The updated version of the M99 Stanchion uses .25 caliber rounds and significantly updated Gauss Propulsion Technology.
Highly effective against soft targets and solid objects such as concrete walls at extreme long range

As the M99 bears the name 'Gauss' rifle, one can expect that this is a rifle version of a MAC cannon, only on a much smaller scale.

Technology
The technology used in the M99 is practically the same concept used on the larger Mass Drivers and MAC guns, but on a much, much smaller scale. This system works through using a series of electromagnetic coils (an Asynch Linear-Induction Motor) rather than chemical propellants as a source of kinetic energy, and is very similar to the M68 Gauss Cannon. A weapon which utilizes this technology is, needless to say, very powerful.

The M99 is also used with a portable computer to provide the ballistic calculations necessary to engage long range targets.
The rifle can also be integrated with other systems, such as ARGUS Drones for trajectory and ballistic data. The M99 also uses the ATLAS+ system developed by Ohana.


It will be used by the Spartan X's for high tisk operations such as target assassinations and the like.

Vermillion will now carry one NOVA bomb, which will be acquired during a later mission.

NOVA Bomb

The Nova Bomb is a Human very high-yield combination of nine nuclear fusion warheads, used by the United Nations Space Command.

The NOVA Bomb is a cluster of nine nuclear warheads encased in lithium triteride. When the warheads are activated, the lithium triteride shell focuses the blast in upon itself, multiplying the destructive power a hundredfold. This gives the NOVA Bomb an unprecedented payload for its size. Its capability to destroy a planet has earned it the nickname "Planet-Killer". It should be noted that on the one recorded event when a NOVA Bomb was detonated in the midst of a fleet close to a planet, it scorched one quarter of the planet's surface due to a concentration of thermal energy inside the planet's atmosphere; it also shattered a moon.


The NOVA Bomb's explosive power is quickly depleted due to the lack of particles or atmosphere around it when it's detonated in space. This results in a much quicker release of energy, with the possibility of even further multiplying its damage to ships, planets, moons, and other celestial objects due to the lack of energy absorbing particles in space. However if detonated inside a planet's atmosphere, a portion of the total energy generated would be dispersed throughout the atmosphere. The density as well as composition of the atmosphere are the largest contributing factors when determining how much energy is dispersed. Even though the power of the NOVA Bomb is not mentioned in the book, a low end can be calculated:

Assumptions: the moon is 2km, and the NOVA bomb is only 5,000 km away.

Calc: Apply the Inverse Squared Law: Source Energy / (4 * Pi * R2) the radius is the distance from the source to the range.

x/ (4 * 3.14195... * 5,0002) = 4 Megatons per square kilometer to fragment a 2km moon which requires 8 Megatons to be fragmented.

x = 1.2 Petatons.

Some may find this yield hard to believe for a fusion device, but the stated effects to the planet and nearby moon require explosive power of this magnitude.


I will only be using these in high risk/ final option situations in space combat only.

Updated specs and build sheet specs.

Prototype variant of the UNSC Stealth Prowlers, created by ONI and the Gematria Program (Previously Project Slipknot) for the United Nations Space Command.

The CFV-666 Vermillion is the second version of the Vermillion, a replacement for the one that was lost during the Battle of The Unseen Path.
However, it bears no ressemblance to the original. The new Vermillion is a prototype Prowler variant.

Experimental Atomized Rail Cannon (A.R.C.)
The Atomized Rail Cannon is an ONI prototype weapon equiped on the ONI/UNSC Vermillion, it is half the size of a standard ship mounted MAC cannon and two (2) times more powerful due to the advancement of technology.
Once fired, the initial appearance appears as a flash of light before the actual projectile hits and no matter how close you are to the target you always see it before you hear it, usually 2-3 seconds in advance.
Charge time is longer then a conventional MAC, so it is not recommended for ship to ship combat.
The A.R.C. is more suited for land targets such as enemy bases.
A.R.C. shots have an overall blast depth penetration of 100 meters and unassisted blast radius of 70 meters.
The A.R.C. is used instead of the conventional MAC Cannons found on other UNSC ships.
It can be fired at various power levels ranging from 10% charge to 100%, though 75%-80% is more than enough to heavily damage or destroy most targets.


The Shields
Employs a heavy duty variant of the MJOLNIR assault armour shielding system, upgraded to be almost as effective as the shields found on a standard Covenant cruiser.


Key Features
A.R.C. Reactor:
The ARC Reactor is a highly effective power generation unit.
Though highly efficient, it can be costly to maintain as it is still in the early stages of developement.
In the case of the Vermillion, the A.R.C. Reactor is used to directly power A.R.C. cannon.
It is however very costly to maintain and is prone to problems such as shut downs, overloads, and complete surges resulting in a brief power outage of the entire ship.
The reactor is roughly the size of to Shaw engine drive cores and sits, well armored, in the heart of the ship.

Photoreflective Armour coating:
Using technology from the Spartan III Project, the Vermillion uses a heavily updated and modified version of the photo-reflective armour which is placed on top of the existing armour plating.
This allows the Vermillon to effectivly blend into its surrounding, making it visually undetectable in an exo-atmospheric environment when active.

Official info for the UNSC/Army Vehicles


M13 SOLAV (Sealed Occupant Light Assault Vehicle)
Designation: Warthog
Affiliation: UNSC Marines.
Developed in joint by the UNSC and ONI.
The SOLAV, using state of the art technology, is equipped with an Automated Gun controlled by a simple "dumb" AI targeting system. It can be controlled manually but targeting is more effective when under automated control.

In comparison to a standard M12 LRV or LAAV, the SOLAV features armored door panels, roof and the gunner position is almost completly shielded rather the open "jeep" design used by the more common and still widely used standard M12 LRV and LAAV.
It has a more aggressive appearance and is 10 inches longer and 5 inches wider than the M12's to accomadate for upgraded suspension, armoring and the gun itself.
Depending on the model, M13 SOLAV's can be equipped with standard M41 Vulcan Light Anti-Aircraft Guns, M69 Gauss Cannons or a brutal M69 Twin Gauss Cannon.
Unlike the previous model, the M13 is harder to roll in hard turns due to its increased footprint and new suspension system.
M13's have recently been approved for combat and due to there cost, there is not alot of them as of yet.
It can comfortably seat 3 occupants.
*M69 Gauss Cannon is an upgraded version of the M68.


M12 LRV/LAAV
Designation: Warthog
Affiliation: UNSC Marines and Army.
The standard Warthog remains mostly unchanged aside from recieving the M13 SOLAV's upgraded suspension, though it has a much shorter travel range than the M13's.
Can be equiped with either an M41 Machine Gun or the new M69 Gauss Cannon.
Seats 3.


M831 Troop Transport
Designation: Transport Warthog
Affiliation: UNSC Marines and Army.
Recieves the M13 SOLAV suspension system and appearance changes, but remains unchanged otherwise.
Seats 2 occupants in front and up to 5 in back.


M275 ULATV (Ultra-Light All-Terrain Vehicle)
Designation: Mongoose
Affiliation: UNSC Marines and Army.
Pretty standard, the new model features stiffer suspension for better traction on loose trerrain and an appearance similar to the M13 SOLAV.
Carrying no weapons of its own, defense is at the descretion of the user.
Seats 2.


M808B Main Battle Tank G-Variant
Designation: Grizzly
Affiliation: UNSC Marines and Army.
The Scorpion tank will share its heavy vehicle role with the newly updated version of the Grizzly.
Officially known as the M808 Grizzly HABT (Heavy.Assault.Battle.Tank) or grizzly by its users, it has seen numerous upgrades since it was last deployed as a field ready prototype.
They are now as reliable as the standard M808B.
Grizzlies are availible in three models: Single Cannon, Double Cannon and Gauss Cannon.
Single and Double Cannons are more common than the Gauss Cannon models.



M808B Main Battle Tank
Designation: Scorpion
Affiliation: UNSC Marines and Army.
Remains unchanged.


D78-TC (Dropship 77 - Troop Carrier)
Designation: Pelican
Affiliation: UNSC Marines and Army.
A major redesign and upgrade of the previous model of the Pelican dropship.
Its appearance is sleeker and more aggressive than the previos models.
Nothing was overlooked when redesigning the UNSC's iconic dropship. The overall shape has remained the same, it appears sleeker and more aggressive and uses thicker armor than previously.
Availible in 2 variants:
D78-Troop Carrier (Standard Model): Same role as previous model. It can now carry 14 marines into battle due to its longer cargo hold.
D78-Cargo: Features an even larger cargo hold, giving it the ability to carry vehicles within itself. It can a vehicle as large as the M13 SOLAV and as many as 3 M275 Ultra-Light All-Terrain Vehicles. The Cargo variant also feature some significant firepower, armed with 2 front mounted Archer Missile Pod's and a rear-facing top mounted GUA 24/AW/Linkless Feed Autocannon.


AC-230 Gunship
Designation: Vulture
Affiliation: UNSC Marines, Army and Air Force.
Recently re-introduced into the field, the Vulture has seen multiple improvemnents since it was last used. Despite the significant upgrades, it remains visually the same as the original AC-220 model.
All Vultures are equipped with one A-75 Sylver Vertical Missile Launcher, two forward mounted GUA 24/AW/Linkless Feed Autocannons and Argent V missile launchers.
*The A-75 Sylver Vertical MissileLauncher is an upgraded version of the A-74.
*The GUA 24 Autocannon is an upgraded version of the GUA 23.


F-100 Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicle (UCAV)
Designation: Wombat
Affiliation: UNSC Air Force.
The UNSC's unmanned recon plane, they are sent in to areas deemed to high of a risk to send in manned combat vehicles.
They usually carry no weapons but can be equipped with a single M41 Machine gun.


M313 Elephant HRV
Designation: Elephant
Affiliation: UNSC Marines and Army.
Though not as widely used due to its size and build cost, the Elephant received substantial upgrade to its engines and weapons loadout.
All Elephants come equipped standard with one front and two rear mounted M41 Machine Guns and an Archer Missile pod.
Elephants can carry up to either 6 Mongeese, 2 M12 LRV Warthogs and 2 Mongeese or 1 M13 SOLAV Warthog and 1 Mongoose.


SP43 Cobra
Designation: Cobra
Affiliation: UNSC Marines
Unlike many vehicles, the new SP43 Cobra fills two distinct roles, that of a mobile Anti-Vehicle platform, and of a self-propelled artillery piece.
Equiped with a pair of the new 17-MJ LRG Rail Guns which fire a high-density ferrous slug designed to penetrate enemy armor using sheer kinetic energy. It has a slow rate of fire, however. The projectile twice the size of an M68 Gauss Cannon slug. The rail guns fire intermittently, not in a single burst, as the energy required to accelerate the slug to the speeds required to pierce the heaviest armor can only be managed for one of the cannons at a time. Synchronized fire from both Gauss Cannons will destroy even the most heavily armored tank, with penetration that easily out-guns the standard 90mm gun of the M808B "Scorpion" MBT.
When mobile, the Cobra uses an upgraded 8-MJ LRG Rail gun, though not as powerful as the 17's it still packs a punch.
The Cobra aslo recieves significant upgrades to targetting, as it is now able to use the automated system equipped on the M13 SOLAV Warthog.



AV-15 Attack VTOL (Vertical Take Off and Landing)
Designation: Hornet
Affiliation: UNSC Marines and Army.
The newly upgraded Hornet sports a more aggressive appearance and faster engines. It is equipped standard with two Class-2 Guided Munition Launch Systems for use of guided missiles and two 3-barreled AIE-486H Heavy Machine Guns.


C710 Longsword-Class Interceptor
Designation: Longsword
Affiliation: UNSC Air Force and Army.
Mostly unchanged. Its loadout varies but consists of up to two 110mm Rotary Cannons or one 120mm Ventral Guns, a pair of ASGM-10 Missile launchers. SHIVA-Class Nuclear Missiles and the Moray Space Mine System are optional. Upgrades to the engines have also been made.


C710 Shortsword-Class Bomber
Designation: Shortsword
Affiliation: UNSC Air Force and Army.
Essentially the compact version of the C710 Longsword. It recives upgrades and modifications similar to the Longsword. Loadout is significantly smaller than the Longsword due to its size. It excells in "Splash and Dash" tactics, dropping its payload and getting as quick as possible.


AC230 Sparrowhawk
Designation: Hawk
Affiliation: UNSC Marines and Air Force.
Dubbed as a mini-Vulture of sorts, this fast and agile fighter sized gunship is equipped with two Dual GUA 24/AW/Linkless Feed Autocannons and a nose mounted Archer Missile Launcher.

UNSC Sabre Class-2

The Sabre is an upgraded project of the Sabre originally located at Reach. It has had a few modifications, but still mainly is similar. It steal need multiple rockets to propel it from land into space, but on a ship does not. Large ships, such as Cruisers, are some of the only capable ships of holding multiple Sabres. These cruisers (such as the Mail Man) replace most of the Longswords with Sabres; creating a dedicated hangar for it.

Frigates can have Sabre's too, but would require a need to construct a large hangar, which would take a large portion of the ship's weapon systems away (they make up the firepower with Sabres).

Each standard Sabre comes with: three large machine guns, two missile launcher bays, and shields. There are also different class of Sabres such as bombing classes and EWAR class Sabres.

Their piloted by 1 pilot and 1 co-pilot and are used primarily by Air Force units.

Reworking a bunch of my Spartan stuff at the moment... alot of it is still in rough right now.

Spartan X Project
Official Designation: SIII Mk.2

Essentially a continuation/redesign and combination of both the Spartan II Project and the Spartan III program.
The prototype run, which was started and directly funded by ONI, consisted of only two Spartans designated as SII's.
The final "product" is still fully funded by ONI but now has more UNSC involvement.
As with the new the Spartan IV Project, children were not used as candidates.

There were only 25 candidates chosen for the Spartan X Project, only 11 of them produced a positive outcome, 12 including MCPO Daniels.
Matthew Daniels, now Master Chief Petty Officer and who was part of the original prototype run, volunteered himself to do the direct testing of the new armour and also become lead for the project as well as the commanding officer of the Spartan X's

The augments are similar and or virtually the same as those used for the new Spartan IV Project.

Devolepment for the project lasted 4 years, beginning as soon as Commander Daniels returned from the Battle of the Unseen Path.


MJOLNIR Mark VI SPI Power Assault Armour

The Spartan X Project uses a heavily modified version of the Spartan II Mark VI Power Assault Armour.
The most clear alteration being that it uses a Photo-Reflective Armour Coating for stealth similar to that of which was used by the original Spartan III Program.
The Photo-Reflective Coating sits between the regular ballistic armour plating and a Nano-Ceramic coating.
The Nano-Ceramic coating was developed to aid the resistance of plasma based weapons against unshielded armour and is in developement for ship based use.
SX Armour employs the use an EMP Jamming Resistant Software system to allow the armor fully operational should an EMP be used during combat.
SX Armor has a built in E.V.A system for low oxygen environments, though the time limit on the oxygen supply is a little on the low side, a spare unit can be equipped when needed.

Using a limiter overdrive that was deemed unsafe during Spartan II development, the armour allows the user to bypass motion limiter software to allow for hightened sprint speeds within set limits.

Armour colouration is matte finished black and helmets use dark red "Crimson" colored visor.
All armors come standard with a single dark gloss grey stripe either around one thigh or one arm.
SX users tend to personalize there armours with secondary colours and or emblems of there choice.

Commanding officers have a personalized colour in one of the same locations, this colour is always a dark shade and usually in a matte finish to aid in the SPI Stealth ability.
Helmets come equiped standard with a 5-frequency comm units, AI interface ports and a limited hostile detection system similar to that of which is used by ODST's.

Side note: As noted by MCPO Spartan X00 Daniels, the wiring circuits for the Shields and the Speed Overdrive are now seperate units.
